Painting – Water, Green

Created with watered down acrylics on canvas with a gloss varnish.

There were 4 different shades of green, watered down. It is always good to have one really dark colour to mix with the others and also I often have a watered down white which makes some really nice pale greens too.

In addition there is a yellowy green added for a slight change in tone and at the end some gold powder was added to the painting which was allowed to move of its own accord.

Dripping some extra water on to the painting once the basic pattern was created meant that some extra wispy patterns were created.
